Lively and animated throughout the year, Alghero is a pretty little town with some 40.000 inhabitants, which keeps alive some very attractive traditions.
Alghero offers not just hotels but culture, entertainment and fun with cinemas, discothèques, shops, elegant cafés and the delightful Civic Theatre.
The old town is one of the most beautiful in Sardinia and the Hotel is located a short distance from it. The large tourist port is a safe landing-place even for boats of larger dimensions; nearby you can find the coral and filigree-work of accomplished artisans.
Alghero is the ideal place to practise water sports like swimming, windsurf, and sailing, and hobbies such as bird-watching, photography, underwater archaeology and fishing. Also those who are keen on tennis, cycling, horse-riding and judo will have the chance to enjoy their favourite sports.
Villa Las Tronas rises at the edge of the sea, on a private headland situated between Cala Lavatoio in the north and Cala Capone in the south. A centuries old park separates it from Lungomare Valencia.
The Town
